My teeth are sparkling. I had my teeth cleaned by Cristy Killeen the offices Hygienist. I thought it might be painful. As it turns out they use a no shot anesthetic. My teeth needed a lot of work! Cristy has impeccable qualifications, is very personable, and has this way about her that is absolutely genuine. The entire Lake Forest Staff have all done so much for me and my confidence. Thank You!!

Needed a lot of work done. I lost a front tooth at the time which of course was my first priority was to get my front tooth so they made a mold & told me come back the next day. I also had missing teeth in the back also & to my surprise not only did they make the front tooth but she also made a top plate of the the missing teeth on top it fit perfectly & so comfortable. All the for the same price!!! Then I looked in the mirror & was so excited & Happy to see that front tooth & even more I started to cry it was perfect!!! And all this was done during the beginning of the Holidays - Thanksgiving & Christmas!!!! AND WAS ABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS 😆❤❤👍I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! *****

I've had some uncomfortable moments at the dentist over the years, but I've never blamed that on the actual office itself until I came here. I recently moved to the area and realized I was overdue for a cleaning. I did some research, and settled on Lake Forest Dental Group mostly because they offered a $59 x-ray, cleaning, and exam special for new patients. I put in a request for an appointment online, and the next business day they called me and offered me an appointment for that day, which was admittedly quite convenient. When I arrived, the front desk staff and x-ray technician were very polite. Things went downhill when I entered the actual procedure room. When I sat down, the dentist arrived and gave me an exam before the cleaning, and I was taken slightly aback as I had never seen this before (usually cleaning, then exam). I then received a horror list of all the things very wrong with my mouth- I needed multiple crowns, possibly root canals, I had many cavities all over my mouth, my gums were diseased, and I needed braces. Strangely enough, I had an exam less than a year ago with no issues at all, and I always brush twice a day every day. At this point, I was pretty distressed but the ordeal kept stretching out as the dentist seemed to be doing her best to scare me- telling me horror stories of people's faces swelling up with infection, etc. She then called in another employee who explained the thousands of dollars of procedures they wanted to put me down for. I was upset at this point and wanted nothing less than to get out. I was heavily pressured to do these procedures, which included a "deep cleaning" for hundreds of dollars. I declined everything, and realized I still had not received my cleaning, but the office was closing down. I told them I expected to receive a cleaning as that was what was advertised and what I was paying for. When I was firm on this, the staff became very rude, especially the hygienist that understandably wanted to go home (however, it was the office that scheduled me an hour before closing). I insisted, and the dentist ended up doing the cleaning herself. She announced beforehand that she hadn't done it in a long time, and it was one of the most painful and rough cleanings I've ever had. She even told me I should go buy some ibuprofen afterwords and commented on all the bleeding. To make things worse, the lights in the office went out on two occasions while she was working on me. I found myself feeling vulnerable and taken advantage of when I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned. Maybe she was right and I really do have all these problems, but I will only confirm that with a second opinion from another dentist. After the sketchy sales tactics, the attempt to deny me the advertised cleaning in order to sell me an unnecessary and overpriced alternative, and the rough and rude treatment I received for exercising my rights as a patient, I will absolutely not be using this office again. Sure, the dentist isn't the most fun place in the world, but I shouldn't feel this traumatized from a simple cleaning. TL:DR- don't fall for the $59 new patient special. It is a bait to get you into the office so they can sign you up for an array of expensive and unnecessary treatments. Also, if you check the one-star reviews on Yelp (something I should have done before), multiple people have had the exact same experience.

Very clean and modern office with a friendly staff. I had a great experience after several visits to my prior dentist over charging me for unnecessary treatments. Dr Ellie is very professional and gave me many options regarding my treatment. They have payment plans and it helped me to get my work done. I recommend this office to my friends.
