In our 15th year here. Own our site. Love it. I am fond of saying: This is as close as you can get to heaven without dying. Lake Forest is undermarketed. There should be lines at the gate. It has access to Great East Lake, one of the finer, not-yet-exploited lakes straddling New Hampshire and Maine. It has a nine hole Executive-style golf course played with a distance-limited golf ball to enhance the challenge. It is over 55, in many senses a retirement community, or, as some have said, summer camp for seniors. It is seasonal. And, oh, so quiet! It has taken me 15 years to write this review. I am not at all sure I want that crowd at the gate. But for the life of me, I can't understand how it continues to remain largely undiscovered.
