Lake Forest Travel is owned by Helen Varri, Swiss born and educated, and her daughter Monica, born in Spain and educated in Latin America and the US.

Lake Forest Travel Bureau is one of the original founding members of Virtuoso, the world’s oldest and most prestigious leisure travel association. Less than 1% of America’s agencies are accepted for membership in Virtuoso. These select agencies must be able to offer clients extensive knowledge and wide-ranging experience on travel throughout the world.
