We were in need of duct repair for our ventilation - Little did we know it was a more difficult situation than we expected - Luckily! Mike and his crew pulled through and finished the job in the short window of time before we opened.

**I can't give ZERO stars to leave a comment.  GET A SECOND OPINION.**  

I did some DIY researcher and was pretty confident my AC unit was low on freon. My two other HVAC guys agreed based on the symptoms but were unavailable to come out. 

Talked to Mike and sent out a guy the next day to look at it. They came out and had to return after my system unfroze (same morning).  The crew took a brief look at it with their gauges and in minutes confirmed it was low on freon but there was also a leak. After about 5 min of searching, they couldn't find a leak but said there has to be one on the coil in the furnace or in the compressor outside. I troubleshoot electronics for a living, not AC units. But that was the quickest but least thorough attempt to determine a problem I have ever seen. 

They then quickly pulled out a Consumer Reports saying I had the lowest model and it was unreliable. I was told they would waive the service fee and offered up immediately the ability to replace the AC unit and coil for only $2500. 

In 30 min I found out:
I have the lowest end AC unit
Coil is bad (assumed, no troubleshooting done)
Repair not worth it (felt rushed to buy a new AC unit)

Friend of the family came out days later when he was finally available. He spent two hours at the house. In that time, found no obvious leaks and refilled the freon on my unit. He also did a check of both furnaces and AC units at the house to ensure they were working. He onlu charged me 10% of what I almost got roped into.

My A/C unit was not sustaining the set temp. I called Mike and he was at my House in 10 mins. He was able to add freon to keep the house cool, Mike came back with a new unit in 2 days. I would highly recommend Mike in the event you have an issue or concern with tour A/C or furnace. Thanks Mike!

Great prices and great customer service.  We had a furnace go out on us in the winter season and called Lake Geneva Heating and cooling and Mike came right out and told us exactly what we needed to do.  Mike got our broken furnace up and running for a great price and ordered a nice, new efficient furnace for us and installed it as soon as it came in.  We will definitely use lake Geneva Heating and Cooling again in the future!
