Very detailed and well organized museum with multiple exhibits showing the creation and history of Lake Havasu. Very polite and informative museum guides walking around giving more historical background to exhibits. The cost to visit the museum is free but if you feel led they do accept donations.
Lots of cool history. Wanted to see pics of my Dad on his pontoon from 1970 I heard was featured there. Disappointed I couldn't find them. Was hoping to see local rocks found though.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Thank you all for a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly . Loved it!! The artifacts were amazing !
Amazing place. Looks can be very deceptive, when we pulled up I was slightly scared of what we may find as it appeared to be a slightly unkempt strip mall. Once we entered we were immersed in history, knowledge, and a great place for kids to discover, play, and enjoy.
Informative docent. Movie a disappointment as on small screen with little seating and very low audio. No set fee-donation funded.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
Go and see this is an excellent small museum. Carefully curated it gives a great overview of the Lake havasu area and history. The rocks and minerals collection is extensive and the live reptile and tarantula exhibit was unexpected and cool. Each area seemed to have a small activity for children.
This place was amazing. You learn a lot about the London Bridge and the city's founders. We bought a lot of nice rocks and sculptures too! The staff is very helpful and fun to talk with. Thanks!!
The staff here was lovely and so friendly. I'm so glad we stopped and got to experience this place.
First time there. We loved the history
Small place with detailed local history. They do ask for donations. Lots of historical artifacts and historic items, along with some natural history and a few desert fauna. The rock collection has some cool pieces but need labeling. The tour guide teens were actually quite knowledgeable, at least to tourists. The bathroom hallway has some great photo collages of the 60s and 70s.
