Could be a really cool experience. The cabins were originally CCC cabins (neat!) and renovated, but clearly showed wear and tear. The kitchen only comes with a toaster and coffee maker so be prepared to pack all cooking utensils you may need. It'd be nice if the cabins came with at least some basic cooking equipment. Our cabin was also missing it's screen door on the screened in porch which sort of defeats the purpose... The lake was wonderful and really close access to a free public beach, as well as rental water equipment. Pets are allowed in the cabins, however, there are very few other pet friendly locations. We did not find a pet friendly beach, nor were pets allowed on rental boats. While they are currently undergoing some renovations, this place could be an amazing vacation (or even short-term visit) location.

Very affordable, the cabins are so rustic and cozy and the new clubhouse is super nice! I love spending the day out on the lake kayaking or walking on any of the many beautiful nature trails.

It was okay this time. They advertised a recent room, pool table, and disc golf course, of which they have none. My 15 year old was disappointed about that. On the third day, the toilet in the cabin went haywire in conjunction with the shower, they haven't come to fix it yet, I'll update if I remember to. Everything else was fine. Larry and Danielle at the marina were awesome!

We love this place! It is a nice size lake with gorgeous water. The cabins are perfect for a weekend getaway and the newly opened lodge is very nice.

The lodge facility is night and day better than the old one. Excellent. The lodge rooms are five star. They're right by the water and you get your own private balcony. Very tranquil. The Blue Heron restaurant is also quite good... although I was not able to eat my leftovers from there as they don't have paper plates and I don't want to microwave in styrofoam, as that can cause cancer. The coffee there was also not very good. Those are my only gripes, because otherwise it was nice. I'd visit again except next time I'll bring my own coffee and paper plates.
