Lake Ronkonkoma is one of the best places on Earth where you can enjoy by yourself or with friends and family , the community group just done a great job keeping this Place great! Come over take a look , walk, relax... Here you can walk with your dog ( but please clean after your dog) some people don't care...  About playground is excellent for your kids and remember you are in charge for your kids safety anywhere they play... You can BBQ here and spend quality time with your family  right here at Lake Ronkonkoma , Suffolk County, New York, USA

Don't go there! Don't take your kids there!! I don't think this place can be saved, very unfortunate, future generations won't be able to enjoy this place.

They need to fix the gates to the playground...they do not shut and are a safety hazard as young kids can run down to the water. Other than that its a great park, wish they would add a splash pad or sprinkler park....

It's the most hip happening spot on the lake. Everytime I'm there the park is emaculate and well maintained.  The parks Dept works very hard and does a wonderful job

Suffolk County and volunteer groups have made a commitment to making park and Lake Ronkonkoma a beautiful, family-centered county park and Lake beach.
