Simply put,  they put money before concern for my dogs health. Very sad as a customer for 20 years or so. Their computer systems were down and payment could not be made on day of service. They called up the next morning asking for payment and refusing test results unless payment is made. What else will they do to get a dollar. Not sure but I am very leery as a 20 year customer getting messed around. Caution is strongly advised. Now I have to find a vet I can trust.

Let me tell you, this place is heaven on earth. When you walk in, you’re immediately greeted by the nicest staff. Not only do they remember you but they also remember your pet. My cat, while he hates the vet for unrelated reasons, loves going there because they treat him as if he was one of their own. It’s going to be a sad day when I move and won’t be able to take my furry companion there. I know we will both miss it.

This was a great experience with medical emergency for our dog. They were friendly and very helpful. Treatment was reasonably priced.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. The staff is "nice" sure because that's their job. Unfortanetly they try to sell you memeberships that doesn't seem to work. Apparently they save you "money", but at the end of the day you always have an "OUTSTANDING BALANCE" that needs to be payed off just to get your dog's nails trimmed. I mean I understand the staff didn't charge me for what it was supposed to be charged but that's not my fault. I still have to pay for it because it was added to my balance. (Ofcourse they never call me back to let me know about that) They said "a manager" will call you on Monday But they forgot to tell me the year. Yet they sold me into that membership like crazy. (I just wanted a rabies shot) I didn't think they care more about the money than my pet❤   Now everything seems to be an extra charge every time I tried to go in. Apparently I have 15% "services" but grooming isn't included. It includes the visits that "have no charge" because it's included in the membership so I guess that's a good deal for them 15%off a visit that's completely "free" because of that $350 membership.. wow what a deal!! I wish I could back in time and never listed to the "very nice staff". 😣😩😞😡

Worth the drive!

We live in Elgin and will gladly make the trip to Lake Street.

Always happy to see us and very attentive to our dogs. A great place to bring your pets to when you need to make sure they are taken care of!
