Did the reservation online. Didn't have to wait to get my hydro bike. One recommendation is that it is tiring. I decided to do 2 hrs just in case. It was only a little bit more $, but at the end I lasted 45 minutes. It was a work out. Highly recommend. It is fun under the sun. Follow me IG- love_to_exist
It had an amazing time at this lake. I went for a two hours boat ride and it was worth the $60. They have bikes you can ride on the water but somehow I am unable to post them here. The bikes can be a little difficult to ride if your not used to riding bikes but once you figure it out, it’s much fun. There’s no area to change so come fully changed. 1 hour ride is $30 two hours $60 and if you go over that, it’s additional $5 dollar per hour. Once you take the boat, go to your left and go until the end. It takes 45 minutes to reach there weather your on kayak or the bike. It’s such a beautiful scenery very beautiful houses and the views is phenomenal. There’s also bunch of good restaurants around here and I think there’s also some public swimming pools within the area. Employees are nice BUT ONE THING I NOTICED! THEY ARE NOT TOO CONCERNED WITH PATRONS ONCE YOU TAKE THE BOAT. Your on your own they don’t give you any safety instructions incase of an emergency situation. There’s no good back support which is not cool at all.
This is such a nice and fun experience to try. If going during the day then Paddle boards or Swan boats may be best. Great workout. I suggest doing the bikes in the evening when the sun goes down. The company definitely needs to clean their bikes, we had spiders crawling over us and I had a spider bite. Spraying the bikes down would be a good idea.
Very kind of the young man to let us launch off the pier in front of this small rental establishment. I was able to watch him as he helped everyone that returned to the pier from the Lake get off their chosen rental craft and situated.
Great place to rent a boat.
If you're looking for something fun to do that's off the beaten path, this is the place! Super easy to suit up, grab a kayak and head out on the water. Staff has always been very friendly and assists you with anything you need, especially when you're new to kayaking recommend going paired first time out. If you're looking to save time, call ahead and reserve, this has helped me in the past so I don't end up being put on a wait list. Also, fill out their waiver online.
Great staff, he was so helpful and accommodating when we came today! He saw we were inexperienced and jumped to help - and even tried to coax me into trying the kayak I had quit after deciding this is not the way I wanted to go, and I can see myself drowning in 2ft of water let alone 5-20ft. Great experience!
Omg..Ive been wanting to try this out for a month. While at work seeing people in the kayaks. I could not wait. I finally tried today. It was a horrible experience. I got there and the guy seemed nice enough. I got my gear and got in the kayak. While rowing Im noticing I have no back support. Im feeling strain in my back and abs but I continue not knowing any better until I could not take it anymore. I rowed back to the dock and ask another patron if there was back support and she said yes. She helped me get out of the kayak. I told the guy and he apologized for not setting the seat up properly...strike 1. He adjusts the seat and Im out again. Minutes later water starts coming into the kayak. Its getting harding to row now. I blow the whistle he barely looks up. Im scurrying trying to get to the dock before I sink. Im not exaggerating. It was a little intense. I can swim..but still. I get there and he says oh..it needs a plug..strike 2 .So I ask if he could have determined that ahead of time? No answer. So some minutes later after he does whatever he did because Ive walked away a little because Im very upset. Its ready now I get back in Im rowing around only to find that the seat doesnt have enough back support again..strike 3. At this point Im done. Horrible experience. I had 2 minutes of fun the whole time. That was my first and last time. Hmmm...maybe that was his intention...0 stars if I could
If you're waiting 15 minutes at the Riva Row Boat House, get over here and you'll get a kayak quick. We rented a kayak from here and liked it better since the process was faster and we were in a kayak on the lake in less than 5 minutes.
Very inflexible. Got here with my wife and kids 2 minutes after their theoretical closing time but were not able to rent the kayaks even though they were all there and there was no problem beyond inflexibility.
