One of the best experience in my life. Virginia and John are lovely people. Everything about it was awesome, from beautiful clean room to heavenly lake view to delicious breakfast.
We're definitely visiting again.

Most definitely a hidden gem on lake Buchanan. Ms Virginia & Mr John are incredibly accommodating and make you feel so welcome no matter what time of day or night! The rooms are spacious (I stayed in the blue room #4) with a kitchen table, full size refrigerator, kitchen sink, bathroom, etc. Ms V has the rooms decked out with just about all you will need. Believe it that their breakfast is delicious and the coffee is AMAZING! It's a small property that is private, safe, quaint, quiet, and secluded. The ONLY property that will have you just steps away from the water! Their dock/patio goes out over the water...stunning for sunsets, sunrises, star watching, etc. I cannot possibly say enough wonderful and kind things about this place and the people! Worth every penny! I've committed to be a return guest with my family.

I highly recommend for anybody looking for a cute quiet and clean  peaceful escape for a weekend. Virginia and John go out of their way for their guests. My wife and I are from California and have made this our yearly "getaway" for four years now....and will continue to do so.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay.  The accommodations were very nice, clean, and the owners were really very helpful and welcoming.  The views of the lake were serenely beautiful.  We enjoyed our stay there and its nearness to the Vanishing River Cruise, park and other amenities.

Completely Ma and Pa owned everything great! You must get the breakfast better than any five star hotel unbelievable views but it's the owners that make it work, the nicest people you'll ever meet. The best thing I can say about my experience at Lakeside is absolutely genuine!!
