Best campground ever! My family and I have stayed here every year since the new owners took over. We absolutely LOVE it! The owners are wonderful and are willing to help however they can. All of the sites are full hook-up and the amenities such as the pool are great. They have a schedule and activities for the weekends including some fantastic performers. The campground is right by the lake so there is easy access for kayaking, boating, trail hiking, etc... This is a wonderful family campground and we love that it is quiet at night so we can get some sleep, especially with a new baby! We look forward to camping here for many years to come!

If I could rate NO stars I would. My lot was under about 6" of water the 3 weeks I was there. They told me that I could only run one of my ac's at a time and I pay the electric at a 3 times the price of what they are charged by South Central Electric Company. The owner is a complete a**. The park is disorganized and not at all clean. If you have to stay in this area I recommend staying at the Ohio Christian University RV park right down the road or Sun Valley in Chillicothe.

As full time RVers this was one of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Very croweded, no bathhouse, you have to mow your own grass no matter if you are staying weekly, monthly, or seasonal. It's $500 a month plus electric and they add a $12 service fee every month to your electric bill. The only good this was the swimming pool.

Just so everyone knows, as of this season (2014) this campground is under new ownership. They are in the process of installing sewer hook ups at each location. The new owners are very good people and are happy to help. My wife and I have been there twice this season and have enjoyed our stay there, looking forward to going back later this summer too, or getting a seasonal spot! The pool and the shower house aren't open yet. However, after the sewer is installed and inspected, I suspect that it will be a short time until that building is open again. This is a nice quiet campground, with friendly people around every turn. The owners alone make this a friendly place. It is a decent drive from our home but well worth it when we arrive. Also, it is within walking distance to the state park where there is the 145 acre lake! This is a big plus for me and my wife, we both love to canoe and kayak. I'd say if anyone has any questions or wants to see wha the park is like stop in and just say hi. When were there last time there were some wonderful lots available. The smallest lot looks about 20x30 but that's me just guessing. All in all, a wonderful atmosphere, and a great campground. I hope this sheds some light on this wonderful, charming place. Happy Camping!
