I like how this campground is arranged. It's close enough to the lake and well maintained. Camping sites have close parking and fire pits. The area is also really beautiful.

The boat dock are also just a quick drive down the road. There's public restrooms, and a decent amount of dock spaces for boats.

Across the road from the campground there's a pretty big RV camping area. They have pull through spaces and open sitting/fire areas.

The one down side to this place is how busy it gets. There's a huge summertime rush and if you don't get in early on a weekend, you might be out of luck getting a spot.

A beautiful, well maintained park. The price to camp is very reasonable. The host of the campsite is super nice. We will definitely stay here again

This is a beautiful place that is clean, pet and family friendly.  There is room for every level of camper.  Day use areas with ample parking, tents, campers and full fledged RV's.  Everyone is friendly and the campsite host is gracious and very helpful.

We did a (weekday) day hike around the lake, which was perfect! The trail is well maintained and the toilets were accessible and clean; and the whole place is peaceful and quiet.  So we decided to camp for a weekend.  Our site was right next to the campground host and the crowds near us were quiet, but further away from the campground host the sites were noisy and raucous.  They were far enough away that they didn't ruin our experience.  A few months later we tried to camp there again, but this time couldn't get a site near the campground host. It wasn't a holiday but the campground was completely packed.  People were ridiculously raucous and rowdy and the campground host and ranger never attempted to enforce quiet hours.  Our campsite neighbors actually took over our entire site and fire ring in a drunken, obscenity-laced party.  During the day the people in the day use area were sitting in their cars, blasting their music and chugging beer.  Every once in a while a ranger would drive past but the crowd had memorized his schedule and turned their music down five minutes before he came, only to turn it right back up again.  As soon as the day users leave it's time for the campers to begin their parties. There is no peace in this campground. It is a miserable experience packed in with way too many people who were only there to party.  By the end of the weekend the bathrooms were absolutely filthy and trashcans overflowing.  Beer cans everywhere.  Such a shame because the location is gorgeous. I really can't understand all the good reviews for this place.

Great scenery, good camp grounds, well kept but ground is not level otherwise I'd give it 5 stars
