We went for the fourth of July events and had a great time.  The $15 cost for unlimited access to the 4 bounce houses was a little high but a much better deal than paying 2 tickets per turn at $1 per ticket.  The venders offered a wide variety of food and drinks.  A special shout out to Conduit Ministries for providing free snow cones.

A park that is well taken care of with a beautiful view! Family friendly and inviting with different events.

Cool green grass to lay on or put a sheet down on the lawn leading to the beach ! the sandy part of the beach is small but who cares.  the swimming perimeter is not large but its big enough to actually swim in.   I'll take laying on the cool green lawn then in sand anyday.  Haven't been there for years but will surely make time this summer.  I prefer weekdays because weekends i would think be crowded .  And you can take a walk around the adjacent neighborhood and admire the Victorian homes.  I hope they still have the floating (and no doubt anchored) little "dock"(for lack of a better word) to jump off of.  If memory serves me, the hours included mornings too 15 or 20 years ago.  bit dissapointed this website says 12-5:00 pm .  And again from what i think i remember is that point park beach is free after 5pm and beach closes at 8pm.  Just have to go north and cross the bridge to the east side of Chautauqua lake a left at first highway crossroads and you'll see signs to point park.  and a great marina to hang out at too.

Great beach.  Public boat docks.  Community sailing organization.  Wonderful playground.

It is s off season, problems with green algey, which is not the norm alot of it in many water ways . Told not to touch it . But generally a nice beach .
