I have lived my entire life in Lakewood. I have seen the park transition twice now. I remember it being a really tall metal slide with some swings and some sand pits.  Then  I watched the old wooden one be built. When that was done, I had a blast playing on that. It was different and I loved it. I have children now and we just went to the new Kids Cove. I cannot explain the enjoyment I had with my kids! We were there for over an hour and a half and still didn't get to do everything. I was a kid living my childhood all over again in the same park that I shared so many memories with my mom and my grandpa. He would have been so proud of what it has become today. I also like the fact that I can see everything that my children are doing. Especially considering one of my children are special needs and likes to wonder off. Good job, Lakewood and thank you so much.

Lakewood park so great. I bring my kiddo here all the time and let him romp around on the incredible new giant playground. It is very often crowded but everyone is always so wonderful. A great place to spend a day or a half hour.

Nice big park with lots of areas to spread out. Plenty of parking. The solstice steps are a great newer addition and are wonderful for boat and people watching and relaxing and watching nice sunsets. Down by the water towards the east side is the cool sidewalk with the Lakewood logo and an excellent view of downtown across Lake Erie, a superb photo opportunity!

I play a lot of basketball here and always have a blast. The people are usually fun to play with but sometimes the courts are pretty crowded. The skate park is really nice and there are good tennis courts. Also a great place for a picnic, walk, and tons more!

Great park with huge fields, playground, paved walking trail and swimming pool.  Awesome place to bring the family.  Parking can be an issue though during peak times so get there early or bike in.
