Best place to get in the water! We try and go at least 3 times every summer! You can bring in food and drinks, just no glass or alcohol. Very fun spot! Bring chairs too. They could use more handicapped parking spots though.

Loved the huge springfed pool!! Water feels clean and cool and there are both kid friendly shallows and 9ft+ depths, plus slides and tree swing. Pool also has convenient steps all along the side where you can chill and gradually enter the pool, makes swimming with kids much easier. -- Really attentive lifeguards. -- take your own lawn chairs in case all the tables are taken. -- Wish I'd been going here all summer!

Landa Park is located downtown New Braunfels. It has a small swimming area that is made out of the local stream. They have two viewing areas that show where the streams originated from The Rock. Those areas are restricted from people swimming or being in the water. The rest of the park is kept clean as I can. With all the wildlife sometimes things can get dirty with Wildlife droppings. They have plenty of picnic tables that are call to reserve. There is a golf course and to sand volleyball courts. There is also a swimming pool. All in all this park is a great place to enjoy a summer day or a casual weekend.

Some of the fields stink of dog poop, and there's a large pile of biomass in the pond adjacent the park, but most of the scenery is great. This looks like a good park for running. The train, costing $3 per ticket is fun for small children and even children at heart. It's not useful, since the only stop is at the station for loading/unloading, but it give you some time to relax. Simply put, this park is for those willing to get away from their jobs and enjoy looking at greenery.

Love Landa Park!! its beautiful and accommodates the entire family with duck feeding, train ride, fishing pier, hiking trail, covered areas for event planning, multiple playground areas, gazebo, stage area for music, etc. Parking is becoming limited because it's such a popular spot especially on the weekends.
