I have only found the employees of Landis Town Hall super friendly and helpful. I had a water valve break and they came to my home to let me know my water usage was higher than normal. If it weren’t for the water dept I would have been surprised with a very high water bill. Luckily they enabled me to have it fixed quickly and prevent that jumbo bill.
Power is out at least 3 times a year, and was out for SIX hours on Christmas Day - dinner didn't happen! For what they charge the service should be reliable. I don't even live in Landis but I'm forced to have their service because my house is closer to them than my own town's electric ???. In the 50+ years I've lived elsewhere, I never had my services out as much as the 4 years I've lived here. The only good thing is how friendly and helpful the ladies in the office are, especially Libby - 2 stars just for her.
They need to get with the times and have a website to pay your power bills. Instead of living like Barney Fife and Mayberry
Tried calling for 10min to pay my power bill. Just so happens they say their internet is down 10 minutes before they close. Yeah ok. I tried asking her something else but she just hung up! I can't stand landis power!!! Why can't kannapolis just be with Duke or Energy United... smdh
Landis residents want the same electricity rates as the other surrounding townships! The power bill is equivalent to an average house payment!!
I'm calling them from yesterday no one to answer the phone
It took me 2 hours to get some to pick up
