I AM NOT HERE TO SELL INSURANCE POLICIES. MY PASSION IS LEARNING WHAT PEOPLE WANT FOR THEIR BUSINESSES AND PERSONAL LIVES, AND USING INSURANCE AS A TOOL TO HELP THEM GET IT.

It may sound crazy, but I’ve always been interested in insurance. This began with being the daughter of a man who still runs his own insurance agency. Then when I went to college, the insurance classes were the ones I loved the most. So it’s no surprise that I’ve spent my entire career in this field and started my own firm, Lang Financial Group, in 1990.

HERE’S WHAT I LOVE ABOUT INSURANCE. Business owners and professionals come to me with problems: sometimes ones they don’t even know they have. My experience—and genuine interest in them—leads me to ask the right questions and listen closely to their answers.

Then I use my skills in solving problems and crunching numbers. It’s interesting to analyze the coverage they have now and identify any gaps. It’s also fascinating to stay current on the latest products and services. This means I can come back with a plan that really helps them, their business and their families meet their goals.

I believe in straight talk. We’re discussing difficult subjects: what to do if they get sick, become disabled, or can no longer care for themselves. Or if they’re business owners: how to offer the right benefits for their employees and still live within the budget, or succession planning. It’s my job to decode insurance jargon and speak in plain English, so my clients can make sound decisions. This is important, because both of us are in this relationship for the long term.
