My dog had surgery..and two days later she was very sick.  I called to see get her in and they said it would cost $300 for 'the emergency' visit because they were so booked... I'm still upset about that because she was sick from something that had gone wrong with her surgery.. I paid the emergency fee, and they had to reopen her to see what was wrong. That was an additional $500 dollars.  She was okay.. But the emergency fee they charged for a dog they had just done surgery on still bothers me.  It just didn't seem right.  I do like vet we had. But not their policy.

I have never has such a horrible experience. Nurses were great but the doctor we saw was inexperienced and didn't know how to handle big dogs. If an owner puts a muzzle on their dog for the doctors protection because of how harsh they're handling the dog and I can see my dog is getting scared and anxious, you do not remove it and then make a fast attempt at the dogs face, to pet him! My dogs are well trained but for you to have the audacity to hand me a card for some amateur trainer is disrespectful. A vet should not be timid and scared, in all seriousness, you should go through dog training so you can learn how to properly handle dogs. Sure $55 for an examination is a good price but you get what you pay for. They're ears weren't even checked and then you hold my dogs arm at the most awkward angle and force it to pop then continue to tell me that I have to pay 175 dollars for x rays and another 100+ for medications. I will never ever bring my dogs here again or any of my other animals for that matter. To sum it all up nurses are wonderful, vet needs more training, and receptionists interrupt transactions of payments I can only assume to talk trash on their customers.

Just moved here and needed a Veterinary For our dogs.  Dr. Baker was wonderful with our golden Retriever, Buddy.  She is very knowledgeable and I was pleased with her recommendations for our dog. The Lange staff are very friendly.   I would definitely recommend Lange Veterinary Center.
