I was pulled over today and realistically, I deserved a ticket.  The officer was extremely well mannered and calm.  Without sharing too many details I genuinely have a deep respect for the Lansing Police Department.  Thank you for keeping our city safe and going after real criminals and leaving the working class alone.  I am 29 years old and in my lifetime growing up in Lansing I have had probably five or six run-ins with Lansing Police Department.  If I can give a really good word of advice if you are honest with the LPD they will treat you fairly. Thank you guys for "BEING HUMAN" and understanding the bigger picture.  In my opinion you set a precedence for how Law Enforcement should be and for that, I can't thank you enough.

They are unbelievably lazy and incompetent. 
If you report a crime, and expect them to do something about it, they will just make fun of you.

Called and talked to Officer O. about whether there was any sort of service in Lansing to dispose of dead deer, because my 90 year old father had one in his front yard.  The officer made a proactive call about the deer and got it on the list for pickup and called me back.  Courteous, prompt and friendly.  Much appreciated.

You would think with all the crime. Police would use there time better. Instead choose to harass people and take there Money.

Squad car #25 Ford Explorer on 8/13 @ 8:28pm needs to relearn PUBLIC SAFETY! 

How do you expect citizens to obey traffic laws when you don't?   Tailgating at 40 mph within 2 car lengths easily (couldn't see the grill through rearview mirror close) for no reason at speed limit,  no use of turn signals, went well over speed limit (40 zone), fiance almost went in the outside lane until you immediately went over and worst of all let a man Jwalk across S. Pennsylvania at dusk.  

You were lucky I didn't call the cops on your ass... would have chased you down to figure out why you weren't obeying any laws if she wasnt in the car. I support the Police, but not you! Be a better PERSON and care for others safety.
