Dont understand why security gaurds are in a trailer park its not like we have milluon $$ homes

Love this place. I've seen management come and go, various problems come and solved. This place is what you make of it. Great Lake. I know of no other trailer park with such a wonderful lake. I've been here about 13 years. Love that security guard, Mr. S. Kelley (karate instructor, too). Need more respect from guests and tenants at the gate to stop ramming through the gate and/or following another car in.

I've worked at this property for 9 years now as the Security Supervisor. With a multicultural community of over 460 homes I feel it comes down to the responsibility of every home owner to be neighborly & crime preventive since we have over 2000 residents. In regards to the gate being down or the comment about Karate being taught as an outsider this is inaccurate. First I've owned 2 homes in this community since 2002. The Karate program is offered for 'Free' to all residents & has been since day one. This is a 'Outreach Program' where we offer a activity as a complimentary offer to our Adult, Children & Families. Yes we have gone through help in the years I've worked here, but so has many other businesses over the years and I might add some of those employees who might have left were only part time or moved up in departments only to be able to better themselves for future opportunities. We have supplied 'Free' School supplies every year to our community children in need through the network that has been established. This last 'Thanksgiving Holiday' we were blessed to give out over 600 Meals to those in need. I have witnessed & participated in many of our Community functions that have been given here: May that include the purchase of Basketballs, Soccer Balls, Halloween Treats & our 'Neighbors helping Neighbors' program working with the Sheriff's Department, Guardian Angels, and both myself along with the Manager Ms.Cruz we joined in the with the adjacent Canal area cleanup, along with the neighboring community Seminole Manner. I take great pride in my work, dedication to the people I have developed relationships with..but for the remark about 'Back Packs ' being disollowed...it was a call we found in the need for safety of others where it became obvious teenagers were bringing alcohol, drugs, and openly trying to either sell or use in the area of where it is a family climate not a place for illegal activity. When the Adults or Parents can not monitor, or periodically check on their own we then will take action for the best interest of the community. In the last 6 years we have done a pretty good job with what we have to work with. I will say 99.9% of the property damage, security gate area, and pool closings are because of those who 'Live' here and are rule breakers & typically after being caught will be spoken to, fined, or evicted as we keep a file document on every residents location. So during the Hot 90 degree weather, or Hurricane season as well as late evenings....everyone knows me as 'Coach Kelley' or Mr.'K'. from the Security Department. We love enjoy our families & friends who we have gotten to know...and like any community we believe in the motto when it comes to a collective effort, we must have 'Unity thru Community ' to enjoy our places we can call 'Home'...Thank You...and we welcome you to our Neighborhood of Friends!!no
