Severely over-charged! If you are looking for good customer service you are in the wrong hands!! Since an affordable move was of high priority to me, I personally weight all moved items ahead of time to get a precise idea of the final cost. Despite all that, I got charged for an extra 50% in weight !!! I received no support on this matter. I strongly discourage people from using LaPorte!!

Dishonest and incompetent. Broke valuable furniture due to poor packing and incompetent truck handling. Lied about including empty box pickup. Worst move ever. After they were paid refused to return calls.

We used LaPorte for our move recently and we thought their service was exceptional. Our first move was 1 year ago and LaPorte kept our furniture in storage for the year. They then moved us in to our new condo. All our dealings with LaPorte have been exceptional over the past year. We want to thank all the staff. I would recommend LaPorte to anyone!

Terrible customer service. I called to arranged in house estimate, and since we work and they only provide estimates within working hours, I suggested that maybe they should be more flexible. The lady on the phone didn't even try to make an effort to suggest any solutions or at least encourage me or even give me time to think, she said I should be more flexible because I'm the one who is moving and ended up with "Buy". Nice way of generating business! I hope they have a reason this lady is still working for them but I don't see it.

Thank you LaPorte for all your hard work. We were a little behind in our packing and these guys came in assisted and insured we were out on time. They also took care in handle our goods. One very happy mover.
