These guys are amazing. We got left high and dry the day before Thanksgiving a few years ago with a new oven that the original people would not install. When we called LAREW they came out that day to fix it for us. Since then they've come out to check our heat and to install a new air conditioner. Both of worked out great and they even called to remind us to schedule appointment to try and qualify for rebates on our unit. They are fast friendly and amazing to work with. Even my four-year-old loves them!

We got water in our basement after a TON of rain and our sump pump went out. My husband called and they sent someone back to the office to get a sump pump after hours and the guy got to our house within 2 hours. Highly recommend them.

I thought this company was a nice, people friendly company - they did my backflow water valve check and was very informative during that visit. But when my air conditioner went out for the second time in two months this summer I went with them the second visit (I had gone with the original installer the first time and he replaced the capacitor). two months later the air conditioner is running but not cooling so I thought I would go with Larew to get a second opinion as to what the problem was. This time it was the fan motor needed to be replaced. The guy who came to diagnosis the problem tested the capacitor at that time and said it was fine and did not need to be replaced - better not it was only 1 1/2 month old! He could not get a motor until the following Monday. A different guy replaced the fan motor and supposedly the capacitor - so the bill said.... I immediately called the office when I received the bill and rejected the charge for the capacitor replacement as it was tested by them and found to be fine and NOT needing replacement. I was told they ALWAYS replace the capacitor when they change out a motor, but they had the capacitor and would bring it to me. I requested it. They brought it back to me - dropped it off at the door - did not knock or ring the doorbell - avoided contact. The capacitor was NOT from my unit. I called the guy who installed my new capacitor (visit 1) and he said it was a 3-prong cyclinder capacitor - "you know you watched me". I then went out to the unit and opened it up and sure enough the same capacitor that he had installed was still there!!!! I called up Larew office and let them have it - that the two prong oval shaped capacitor they dropped off at my door was not my capacitor and that they had done what I suspected all along - charged me for a part they did not replace and thought a woman would not know enough to question. Grant it, it is only $40 out of the $400 bill - but it is the principal of the thing - not to mention addressing their HONESTY as a service provider. Advice - ask to see all parts removed and packaging of all parts replaced BEFORE they leave the premise - otherwise you are open to being charged for services/parts not done..... Debbie Iowa City
