Decent selection on menu. Arrived at 6:45pm on a Monday evening, only one other customer on the place. It took 30 minutes to get my soup. The shrimp "A La Habanero" arrived at the same time. WAY overcooked, cold and not even a hint of habanero flavor. Everything else on the plate was cold as well. The creamy chicken pablano soup was warm and very tasty. The waiter apologized for everything coming out at the same time I had ordered the soup as an appetizer I did however, hear the waiter asking the kitchen "is that my table's plate sitting there" a couple of minutes before he brought everything out. Decided not to complain in person, didn't want my food tampered with so I just sucked it up and ate the cold shrimp stuff. Overall, I gave 2 stars just because the soup was good. Won't be back tho. I could have had better shrimp from a box in the freezer at HEB.
The service was great and the food and drinks were yummy. We had the mimosa flight and it was the perfect amount per person. I had the shrimp al ajillo shrimp with garlic in English. It was a little salty, but still delicious. A little avocado on the side would have helped to cut the salt. There was indoor and outdoor seating with food served quickly even though they were fairly busy. This is definitely a must do if you visit Brenham.
1st time here for Sunday brunch. Stellar! You HAVE to come down and try the stuffed French toast, Chorizo hash, mimosa flight and Cafe Columbiano.
Nice inside. Lots of wood, tile, stucco walls, I liked it a lot. Ordered the lunch special fish tacos. It was only $13. Cloth napkins, real silverware, real plates. Kind of cozy inside, cool atmosphere. Service was fast . The fish tacos were very good! Combination of crunchy radishes, coleslaw, sauce and avocado with fish. I enjoyed my lunch and will be back!
Great service and nice portions. Some of the dishes were amazing and some needed a bit more flavor but overall definitely recommend this place. Great location as well.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Their ceviche is delicious! Their Ahi Tuna as well ! Service is wonderful! Music is lively !
Great restaurant, service was a little slow while there were only two small tables of customers. My grandson got the lamb chops, he loved them. I ordered the ahi tuna appetizer along with the poblano soup and was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
This was my first time to eat here. I loved it! The best Plaintain Maderos I've had anywhere. Enjoyed the Amazonian Salad. Kudos to the staff - you could tell the were short but all double-timed with smiles.
Easily one of the finest restaurants I have ever been too. We visited with the owner too. She was a delight! We would definitely make the 150 mile trip again just to eat here. Amazing food and AMAZING people!
Great ambience and menu choices. Flavors were amazing. We got 2 dishes that should have and typically come with sunny side up eggs but were delivered hard. Returned just the eggs and waited for new ones. Still came out hard..lol. no biggie but runny eggs on those dishes set it off. Cooks fire was way to high. Turn it down..lol. it was great though. Will come back
