My absolute favorite place to unwind and grab a margarita for happy hour. You wouldn’t think to get hot wings here but they are the best hot wings I have had. Great family atmosphere and the staff is wonderful! See you at happy hour! Parking: Open parking with plenty of spots
I have ate at 3 of the Las Fuentes resteraunts, the 1 in Hempstead being my favorite. I had to take a very good friend, Russell Hantz the ultimate villain off Survivor to lunch. I wanted a place with professional but friendly service where the drinks are good, food is great and atmosphere is excellent. Las Fuentes is the place for great authenic mexican food and marvelous margaritas!
The food and service were good, the place was filthy!! Toilets were disgusting, counter top was thick with months of grime and there was no hot water to wash my hands. Chances are good that the employees are washing their hands in cold water too. Bacteria much! The walls and floor were nasty...how have they passed inspections for cleanliness!?!
If I could give zero stars, I would. Went for the first time and was absolutely disgusted. Server told us to just find somewhere to sit. Food was brought out and was horrible. The chicken in the fajitas were dry and the beef in the stuffed jalapeños were almost inedible. When we talked to the waitress about these issues she said she had to talk to the manager and then proceeded to sit down which she did the entire time we were here, the “owner” came over and comped the fajita plate but did nothing about the inedible jalapeños even though they were not even touched. NOT BLACK PEOPLE FRIENDLY!!
Diana was a bit difficult. The first time I came here I had an excellent green salsa that came with my meal and it was very delicious. I went back a second time. However the second time I went they did not have the same green salsa again and they wanted to charge me $3.00 extra for a different creamy green sauce with less flavor. I'm disappointed that the sauce wasn't the same. The food was good but customer service needs improvement.
For them to have a 3.9 I'm sure they did those reviews themselves! Today I drove into town to take my daughter and friend out to eat. They're college students so I thought I'd give them a break from the school cafe food. When we got there the hostess was nice, but the service went down hill from there. One of my kids ordered a chimichanga without the cheese sauce. They bring it out covered in cheese! Then he specifically asked the waitress do they have the red enchilada sauce. She repeats what he says and said yes we have the red sauce. She comes back with another plate covered in something that looks like thick brown gravy. He even tried to eat it for the sake of it, but it wasn't what he wanted. They take the plate and the very rude manager Maria says that he isn't allowed to order anymore food because They already threw out two $18 plates! So he was not allowed to eat at All . I will NEVER go back to this over priced unseasoned place!!!
Fajitas for 2, mixed meat. Beef was charred. Chicken was fine. Rice was served on skillet and burned the rice in minutes. Tortillas were good. Chips great. Salsa was poor. Tasted like maza powder. Fun vibe in restaurant with old country karaoke.
I would definitely recommend this place for some great Mexican food. For starters, they served 2 different salsas red was warm and a small bowl of queso with chips no charge. I had the enchiladas Verde and they were delicious and the staff friendly and helpful.
Las Fuentes Mexican Restaurant My lunch meal was $12.50, my husbands lunch meal was $12.75. I ordered a sm. Mango Margarita , my husband a sm. Margarita on ice, no call Tequila. My drink was $11.50, $1.00 less then my whole meal! My husbands Margarita was $10.50, $2.25 less then his whole meal. RIDICULOUS DRINK PRIZES, AND WE HAD TO ASK FOR SERVICE, SO WE COULD EVEN ORDER OUR MEAL LUNCH! No good reviews here! Total bill $51.00 and something for a LUNCH, for 2.
The smell of second hank smoke is so strong it compromises the eating experience. I felt like I smelled of cigarette smoke after leaving the restaurant.
