Visited here for the first time after the reopening still confused about what happened after the China restaurant closed and a very expensive "Latin" place opened which was doomed from the beginning due to pricing. Anyway we just had appetizers here to keep our costs down and they were very good bordering on excellent. Guacamole and the Nachos with chicken were well prepared and plentiful and needed a to go box. Colorful chips and medium salsa were tasty and were replenished as needed. Staff was friendly and seem to want to please. Since we didn't do a whole meal it's hard to judge on a scale of 1-10, but we'd go back based on our first experience.
This place is new to pahrump. As with any Mexican restaurant, recipes are regional and personal at the same time. This wonderful restaurant has the recipes the beg the word "authentic" to come out. There is a big difference between employees following a recipe vs family fixing you a plate of delicious well prepared plate. The hot sauce was secret recipe stuff and worth asking for! Unique and amazing. The crab enchiladas has real crab along with some amazing enchilada sauce! I swear they must have used a mocahete to hand grind the spices!! The Carne Asada plate was perfect size for a big appetite. The pico de gallo was fresh and the guacamole is top notch too! Worth a stop in to try anything on the menu and they easily earned the hashtag #nofeardining.
Delicious food big portions. Service is excellent, the wait staff checks on you throughout the meal to see if they can do anything for you. I am vegan and they had many menu items for me to choose from. They serve real Mexican Coke in a bottle. Reasonable prices too!Food: 5/5
We had a birthday lunch after church and the food was great. I had a carne asada burrito and it was great! All the people in our party loved the food, the cleanliness of the place, and the service of the staff was exceptional. We sang Happy Birthday and the staff came over a little later with a dessert and a candle in it and sang to him too. The prices ranged from $7 to 15.
Our first time going... Tried the Carnitas platter... the pork was so dry I wasn't able to swallow it... my wife had caldo de res and the vegetables and potatoes in the soup was not fully cooked... coffee was instant and way too strong... yuck! Service was very poor... we felt like we were forcing them to be there... over all... not a good experience.
Flautas 8/10 Pricey for the quantity but was good and will have again Carne asada 2/10 Chewy and lacked flavor on the plate, but they were understanding and helpful so will retry and update Flan 5/10 Strong good flavor but was thick instead of fluffy that is usual flan, will try tres leches next time.
We stopped by Las Patronaz on our way visiting Death Valley. The food was excellent! This is the cleanest restaurant I have seen in a long time! I travel quite a bit. I would highly recommend checking it out!Food: 5/5
Not the best, but very tasty. Salsa not hot enough, even if you request the hottest. Family ran business, I will go back.Food: 4/5
For the price there should be some chicken in the enchiladas no chicken all peppers and onions the shredded beef is way to sweetFood: 2/5
I had the Sonora Enchiladas. Great flavor and plenty of sauce. Rice was cooked perfectly and also plenty of sauce so definitely not dry. We will be back!
