Shrimp and catfish was better than we had in Galveston!  They are getting a new air conditioning system. Check out the roof top deck and upstairs bar!  Great service, they have always listened to comments from their locals and have perfected their shrimp breading.  Love this place. Simple hometown atmosphere.  It's a regular for us.

This seems to be quite a busy place. The food has been consistently good. Upstairs bar area with cool stairs. Nothing fancy, just great food and a salad bar, with fresh everything.

This is a real review, I've noticed some of the ones I see are questionable.

At lunch I had the chicken fried chicken, so did my friend and one other person I know that was there the same time as me. it was good. All three of us thought it was good and was a large portion. The salad bar was fresh and small but had a fair selection. I didn't see any oil and vinegar though. The bread they served was not bad at all. The price was reasonable for a sit down lunch. The place was cool and comfortable. 
I enjoyed my meal. I'd like to go back and try a few things, but I will go back.

You can not beat the price, and flavor of the food especially their steaks great flavor. I have always been a satisfied customer. There is nothing fancy about the place,but you won't walk away disappointed. Try the cut ribeye steak delicious!
