LaSalle Fitness is pretty much everything you could ask for in a facility. It's clean, has a good range of equipment available, and makes very good usage of the the space it occupies. The staff are friendly and helpful(Nathan was wonderful) , and the other members are respectful. I was very impressed by the range of cardio, circuit train ing equipment and the variety for free weights at this gym. Doesn't matter if you are looking to get big, strong, ripped, join group classes or just starting out; this facility has all what you need to achieve your fitness goals.

Very disorganized and poor customer service. I purchased a membership Dec 2016 and upon trying to swipe into the facility in February, my card didn't work. I went to the front desk to inquire, and the girl told me my account must have some how been deleted as there was no record for me. So I had to resign up. In April I had called to ask about cancelling my membership as I was moving in may, and was told that I just needed to come in to sign some papers. I went in on May 15th, which is the same day my payments come out and signed a cancellation form. I asked the girl at the desk if it was a problem because my contract was for a year membership and she said no, and that because my payment had come out that very day, that that would be the LAST payment coming out. (As most gyms need 30 days notice). I noticed a month later that a payment had come out of my account, and confused I called to inquire. I explained to the girl on the phone that I had come in a month prior, same day as my withdrawals and that the girl at the desk had told me no more payments would be taken out of my account. She said that the employee must have been mistaken and that she couldn't do anything about it, and assured me that THAT would be the LAST payment taken out as it was the 30 days notice. She forwarded me to a manager on duty (July 23rd) and the lady had conquered and apologized for the confusion. That, technically may 15th would have been my 30 days notice, and that the payment that came out in June was my final payment. I wasn't thrilled as I was initially given the wrong information, the manager apologized for the employees mistake and assured me that was all she could do. It's now July and yet ANOTHER withdrawal from Lasalle fitness came out of my account again. Very agitated at this point, I called to inquire about what hell was going on. A manager had called me back and apologized for the confusion. Marco had told me that technically because I was signed up for a year contract I still had 5 more payments to make. Usually in that scenario they allow the contract holder to try to sell the remainder of there membership to someone else. The only way out of it is with a manager approval. I'm not discrediting this policy as I know it's mainstream for most gyms, however I spoke to 3 employees since May, one of which WAS a manager, I even inquired about the year tie, and was assured by ALL THREE that it wasn't as issue, and ALL 3 had told me that my final payments were done. (One on may 15th and one June 15th). So why is Lasalle Fitness not refunding my 33$ they took in July? Marco said that because of the mix up on their end he was "allowing" me out of my contract. Excuse me?! I was "allowed" out of my contract 3 employees, one Manager, and 3 months ago. I asked Marco to please have the owner contact me, but he said that the owner was very "hands off". This is a small town gym with a lot of competition where word of mouth goes a long way. Maybe the owner should be more "hands on". I'm very dissatisfied and unimpressed with the value of customer service here.

Great gym. New owner (Andy). Classes are awesome and the women's only section finally got a squat rack !!!!

We have been members at this gym for 20 days. The only reason we joined it to participate in the hard core abs course, (monday evenings), and the bootcamp (tuesday and fridays). We made this very clear when we signed up. We were just turned away because the class is too full! Now we have to go work out elsewhere.
