I have been a patient for many years, and trust the staff at the Laser Center with my care. More recently, and after many years of repetitive occupational stress, I found that I had reached a plateau in my physical conditioning, was generally tired, and had reduced levels of energy.

After careful consultation with me and in review of my lab work, Dr. VanAntwerp started me on a course of testosterone treatment. I have found that I wear my belt on the 4th hole, instead of the first; I have lost fifteen pounds, and have leaned up greatly; and that my energy levels are on the rise again. In addition to the physical benefits described, I have found my mood to be more positive, and have seen phenomenal changes in my blood work - my lipid numbers are significantly better, there has been no change in my PSA score, and overall my blood chemistry is much closer to normal than it has been in a long time. 

The staff is great, I trust their medical advice and care, and they treat me like family. It is well worth looking in to this course of treatment if you are in a rut, work in a stressful occupation, or find yourself a half-step behind how you used to be.

Reading the review and so many people said good things about this place. I recently went and had a appointment and it really upset me how everyone who works there treated my family so bad. These people are racist and never have I experienced such a thing m. I will never go back to this place. Worst staff ever!

While I did have a pleasant experience during my consultation and procedure with Dr. Mallalieu, I don't believe the results from my gynecomastia surgery are entirely satisfactory. Several months after my treatment and allowing my chest to fully heal, the problem has been reduced, but still remains. 

Unfortunately, excision of breast tissue is not performed alongside the laser liposuction treatment at the Laser Center. This only treats pseudo-gynecomastia which is caused by fat alone, and does not resolve cases of true gynecomastia which involves enlarged breast tissue in men, along with the fat tissue. Because of this, I have had to consult several other plastic surgeons for a second surgery, and to properly rid myself of gynecomastia. 

I have nothing against the Laser Center of MD or their great staff, hence the three stars. All the people involved in the procedure were kind, friendly, and professional. However, I feel people seeking treatment for gynecomastia be aware of this, and keep this in mind when looking for a doctor for treatment.

The staff at the laser center was awesome, loved the front desk. The office was tidy and so clean. Ask for Mercy the nurse for hair removal she made me very relaxed and at ease.

I spent several thousands of dollars with a plastic surgeon for zero results on laser tattoo removal of two plain black tribal style tats. Dr. VanAntwerp knew upon immediate inspection what laser would achieve immediate, maximum results. He also took the time to educate me on how the inks are not regulated, posing unique challenges for removal, and how different types of ink respond differently to different types of laser light. True to his word, my results were immediate. He even took great care to ensure my comforts as both areas being treated are larger and painful. There is no one else I recommend, and no one else I would trust to touch my body with something so powerful as a laser, and not just for tat removal. My skin has suffered acne damage beyond what some lighter technologies can correct. No one else but Dr. VanAntwerp is trusted to touch my face with a laser. You only get one skin. Be particular and demand excellence before trusting just anyone to work on it.
