I looked these ladies up on their website after I was referred by a friend when I couldn't get into another salon in town because they wouldn't take appointments after 3pm. So I went in with a picture from Pinterest which isn't always the best way to get a hair style and she did EXACTLY what I asked for!! Nellie is AMAZING and I will be going back to her very soon for all of my hair needs:) She is a perfectionist and I feel like I was treated great:) I love my new hair. Thank you Nellie. I would highly recommend this salon. They also can get you in on nights and sometimes on weekends. Very accommodating!

The customer service here was AS BAD AS IT GETS. My friend and I, who had an appointment, walked in to an empty salon. The woman behind the counter didn't look up let alone say anything. Finally my friend said, "oh, sorry we're a few minutes late" (our appointment was at 11 and it was 11:05). The woman, Nellie we later found out, said, "well, your chairs aren't ready yet, anyway." When our chairs finally were ready, my pedicurist said, "oh, do you already have polish on?" She spent the next ten minutes looking around for polish remover, then apparently took a lengthy call for a wedding party. When she returned with the remover, she rubbed it on my toes and said, "oh, is this gel color?" I said it might be (I really don't know these things) so she proceeded to simply sand it off with a nail file. My friend was really trying her best to be friendly and polite to Nellie, asking her name for example, and when Nellie snapped with a quick one-word answer and no inquiry on my friend's name, we just talked to each other and pretended like the pedicurists weren't there. When the pedis were over (mine ended first, which means it was probably 15 minutes shorter than my friend's), the women simply left us in the chairs with no instructions as to whether to follow them to a drying area or just sit and wait. I think their name says it all: use this place as a last resort only, but SAVE YOUR $35 (another hit against them... WAY overpriced for basic pedis in rural Oregon) for a salon that acts like their happy you're there.
