This cemetery is an embarrassment! I am here visiting a relative's grave on Sunday, June 13, 2022. Totally appalled by the lack of maintenance throughout the entire cemetery. The grass looks as though it hasn't been mowed in weeks/months. The grass is so overgrown, I cannot even see my relative's flat stone! The grass has grown to 6 inches in most of the sections. The big sign at the entrance asks if our plots are in compliance. I ask, is the cemetery maintenance in compliance?? Even just a quick look at the overgrown grounds provided the answer as a great, big NO! The trustees and grounds crew should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this severe lack of maintenance to happen. Embarrassing!
Good to see that the grounds are finally being mowed and maintained on a regular basis. Long overdue.
A nice old Town cemetery with lots of history some famous people were buried here and notable characters from town if you like to look at old from from the 1800s. As well as the current active cemetery
