One of my favorite restaurants to bring out of town guests. Everyone loves the delicious variety choice of dishes, the unique and funky decoration, and many gluten free food. Even my most food critics family gave a thumb up.
Good food and glad we ordered it all when the waitress first came to greet us. Had walked by this place previously and saw it was packed, once we dug into the food we knew why. The restaurant is small and full of a variety of different decor. Highly suggest making reservations or else you will be waiting for quite a while.
So, we just happened on this lovely restaurant one day. We wanted something new and fresh. First, the food was absolutely delicious. The chef knows how to cook! Every bite was perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere and decor made it feel like we were visiting old friends and breaking bread or tostones. Very charming. My husband had the lamb stew and I had the lime shrimp. And, was it good? Oh my. Quite! The shrimp dish was so good that I ordered it on our second visit five days later! I will say that our waitress was a bit strange on the first visit, but all was forgiven by the time we finished our meal. To top it off, the chef came out and asked how we liked our food. Nice people, excellent food! We will be going back.
Absolutely delicious food with a very large and diverse menu. The ropa vieja and line shrmp dishes we ordered were both cooked to perfection. Good service and a colorful vibrant atmosphere. Small, cozy dining room: Reservations are recommended!
This is my new favorite local restaurant. The staff is so friendly and sweet plus the food is flavorful and delicious. I appreciate the presentation and portions. I called last minute on Valentines Day and they accommodated us very well. I recommend everything. Salud~
This place was spectacular everything we ordered was great we had two appetizers. The corn boat prawns and the tempora plantains with chorizo. OMG, two must haves. We each enjoyed an entree. I had the seasonal halibut and my friend had the pescado asada both delicious. The food was impeccable. Our server Glenda went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience. We will certainly return
I went for lunch with 2 friends they have not eaten there i have not for a while myself but the service was great christina the servet knows her menu..very helpful...friendly . She was taking care of the customers and us in spite it was fairly busy ..the decor and atmosphere was cozy..nicely decorated ..the owners put alot of touch. Care and love into their place. Food was delicious..the blend of spices and flavors fused together ..I am a usually a critique of food where I eat..so this was good! There is parking on street and garage across street..may be busy at certain times..do you need reservations on busy evenings..I know they do catering..and pick ups etc..overall it was a nice good experience..we hot a nice massage 1 door down was good too. I think next time massage first then to Lavier
Sat outside with friends, cozy setting and although a chilly night the 2 heat lamps next to our table kept us warm and comfortable. The waitress let us know they were short staffed but service was still good. The 3 people that served us were all very friendly. Servings were generous. We tried a vegetarian queso fondue like dish with tortillas- yummy! We also had the mole enchiladas and vegitarian chille rellenos, both very good. Did not try dessert because we were all full!!
The staff was great! Friendly and attentive with great explanations of the specials. The food was delicious, everything seemed to be cooked with great care. We had the carnitas plate, puffy shrimp tacos and the whole trout. We're excited to go back and try what else they have to offer.
Lots of options! Delicious sangria. Everything we ordered was beautiful and delicious. Creative dishes. Will definitely return!
