I come to this area every year from Dallas TX and I don't think you could find a place with people that care more about you having the most comfortable stay. It's so neat and I love to help a smaller family owned business when possible.

Wonderful  real clean very nice room best I've  had in a very  long time and I travel a great deal !! Only complaint  is  not very good parking  but can live with  that for a great quite  room

Great experience in one of the motel rooms and a good price. The room at which we stayed was showing some wear and tear (could use some new wallpaper and paint touch ups in places), but overall we'd definitely go back. 

2016 update: We came back to Lawrence Manor approximately one year later to stay for an annual visit with family in the area. Following our experience I cannot recommend this establishment or the owners, Nelson and Donna, enough. The first night of our stay in the motel portion we discovered that our toilet, shower, and sink were all draining slowly. We alerted management and then went out to visit with family. We returned at approximately 11:30 PM to discover that a note had been taped to our door informing us that the problem was still unresolved and inviting us to come into the main house to further discuss the matter. Nelson, whom I can only imagine had been waiting up for us, appeared approximately 45 seconds later to convey the same message. He invited us in and offered us two Bed and Breakfast rooms (a significant upgrade - see lovely photos that have been posted). We enjoyed them and complementary breakfast for the duration of our stay. Nelson and Donna meanwhile worked with local plumbers and other officials tirelessly to resolve the problem eventually determining that it had been caused by plumbing "upgrades" made by a local neighbor this past summer farther down the sewage line. While quite inconvenient and stressful for them they were never anything but kind and gracious to us. For as long as we continue to come to visit family in the area and they continue to own and operate Lawrence Manor we'll continue to book our lodging with them. If there were a way to rate them 6/5 stars I would!

The room was small but quaint. It is a good place to stay overnight for a quick stop.

We enjoyed our stay. Rates are extremely reasonable and they were extremely accomodating for us with our two large dogs We'll be coming home for another weekend trip and we'll definitely be staying there again!
