This wasn't a bad school but I had one horrible teacher in the second grade. Her name was mrs/ms Brady, or Joann brady. She was the meanest person I have ever encountered. She would yell at kids (especially me) for no reason, about stupid things, even though we were just second graders. I have a faint memory of what really happened since I'm in eighth grade now, but I do remember a few stories that pretty much sums her up as a teacher and a human being. It was the first time I got my glasses, and I would offtenly forget that at home. If I ever did forget them she would yell at me in front of the whole class. This happened all the time even if I did the slightest thing wrong. And if sometimes I did my homework wrong she would ALSO yell at me in front of the whole class. She would compare me to other students if I didn't do my work right. She would make me cry everyday for no reason and it was absolutely hell for me there. But when it was a parent teacher conference she would act so nice infront of my mom , like she did nothing wrong. Sorry if the grammar is off, I'm not going to check over this.

This review is based on the cafeteria services only. I'm sure the teachers there are great. I was working with a staffing agency and got placed there in the cafeteria. I was told to cover my tattoos by the staffing agency and I did just that, wore long sleeves and makeup for the ones on my fingers. On my first day I can tell that their minds were made up they did not want me there because they showed no interest in training me properly. I was not given any feedback on my work performance on what I need to focus on doing better. I figured it was busy so the atmosphere would be a little better the next day. When I came in the next day I greeted the manager Debbie with a good morning and the first thing she said was "oh the agency didn't call you? ", she told me I could not work there because I had tattoos on my fingers. As she told me this she had such an evil grin on her face as if she was saying we don't want gangbangers working here. She also lied to the staffing agency and told them I did not cover my tattoos. I understand what the dress code is but that was not the case here... there were other workers there that was not complying to the dress codes... I was simply being judged on my physical appearance and not on my work ethic. And on top of that I was working with food and wasn't even given a Tb test, they were only concerned with a drug test and fingerprints. Lastly, some students wanted to get extra bread sticks but did not have enough money in their account so could not get them but we ended up throwing the bread sticks away anyway, I just thought that was so petty.

This school brings back so many memories, as a kid, I had so much fun learning math, reading, and science. Mrs. Falk was a little "mean" but every other year was great! Thank you all my teachers for helping me get this far.

I started at this school in 2nd grade, I loved it, 3rd-4th loved it... 5th grade I had Mrs. Falk the WORST teacher I ever had, she was ALWAYS rude, mean & snobby to me, in other words I felt like crap. If your child(ren) have her you better pray for them she will make your child's year HELL. She also acted towards me like I was mentally handicapped when I was only physically handicapped. When I broke my knee cap 4 yrs. ago, I was in a wheelchair, The tallest kid in the class was in front, I don't speak too loud, I'm really quiet. The schools architecture is WAY out dated the only "newest" looking thing is the PLC. The staff that was there when I was there were really nice. She may not have been "mean" but she was rude.
