Jam Sessions! Live Bluegrass Music!! Music/Arts/Crafts Instruction!!!
We host jam sessions every Thursday evening beginning at 6:30. Doors open at 6:00. There is no admission charge on Thursday evenings, but donations are always appreciated. :) Musicians, spectators and dancers welcome. A limited selection of snacks is available from The Crooked Road Cafe, which is located inside the Center, including popcorn, chips, candy, and drinks.
Every Friday night, we have a live bluegrass band on the stage! The music begins at 7:00. Doors open at 6:00. Admission on Friday nights is $5/adults and $1/children 6-12. Come enjoy the music and dance the night away! The Crooked Road Cafe, located inside the Center, serves up hotdogs with homemade chili, hamburgers, nachos and cheese, chips, candy, popcorn, drinks and other goodies.
The Center offers instruction in pottery and stained glass. Additionally, a wood carving group meets at the Center on a regular basis. The Center is also the site for WiseJAMS, a new program teaching school-age children how to play traditional mountain music instruments.
