So I'm not sure how I haven't rated this place already. Must be slacking because I've been here on multiple occasions. I've been to multiple middle eastern countries and this place has some authenticity to it. I usually have the mixed grill because I like a bit of everything. My wife usually gets the spicy swarma chicken plate. All the plates come with warm pita bread. I usually get the fries and go all out and make the feta fries. Trust me, you won't regret it, well your diet may. The kids meal comes with gelato and they usually have 6 flavors on deck. The beer and wine selection is limited but they usually have a good local brew on tap. I would definitely recommend this place
This is the spot for Mediterranean food!!! Everything was delectable. Everything had flavor and great seasoning. I tried these feta fries and omgosh I have been missing out. The fries were fried to a crispy perfection with crumbles of feta cheese and cheese sauce. Loved my gyro platter. I do wish they gave more pita bread cause they give you humus too so trying to eat the meat with pita bread and humus doesn't allow enough. Besides that it was awesome. I thought it was pricey though cause for one person I spent $21. All in all great food and service.
Great food, good portions, and friendly staff. I got the gyro beef and lamb platter that comes with white rice, pita bread, and roasted red pepper humus, and all were delicious . For my additional side, I chose fries, which were good as well. Service was quick too.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Great spot to get Mediterranean style food, which is a very healthy lifestyle choice! This location offers military discount only on Tuesday’s. The venue has a cozy seating arrangement and very good food! The atmosphere is very inviting and gets super busy during lunch rush hour. If you dine in, their staff cleans the tables for you, so a tip is definitely an appreciated gesture. The Chicken Shawarma is very good. This location uses the spicy red sauce in the Shawarma. I have spent a combined, more than 10 years; in the Middle East, Mediterranean, and Europe. This is the first location that I have experienced that serves Shawarma Stateside, that does not have the option of the traditional yogurt sauce garlic and savory flavor, similar to the Greek Tzatziki Sauce with a less vinegar/sour taste. The Beef and Lamb Gyro Wrap is absolutely fantastic and is my go to at this place. I highly recommend giving this spot a go!
I would usually give this place 5 stars but today I was disappointed. Ordered online like I usually do and got to the restaurant at 9:30. Young lady in the front said that it would be a little more on my order and I said okay. I waited patiently as they continued to say carry out names but mine was never called. Eventually the young lady noticed and rechecked the bag she supposedly already checked… there it was my food. I wasn’t handed my food until 9:54. This whole time my food was there. By the time I got home it was cold, hard, and the rice was cold and hard…. What a waste of time and money. Update: I just started eating my food and the chicken is so burnt. I flipped the chicken over and you can see the before and after of this chicken after I flipped it. Also very dry no sauce.
The wings here were amazing. The hummus was a bit too tart but still very tasty. Can't wait to come back and try the fried cauliflower and the baba ganaoush
Gyro Platter and Feta Fries were perfect. Was in the area for business and got the order delivered from Doordash. Highly recommended!!
TL;DR: Tasty Mediterranean spot that is a good change of pace from the usual chain restaurants. Outside/Pre Visit: The restaurant is located in a large shopping center with a shared parking lot so there is plenty of parking. However, you do have to walk across the parking lot near the access to the lot from Towne Center Drive so it can be very busy and take a minute to walk across. Otherwise, it is easy to access via the light on Washington & Towne Center. Inside/decor: The decor is very appropriate for the theme of the restaurant with lots of Mediterranean feeling tables and plants on the inside. There is outdoor seating and a nice indoor sunroom type space also available. The booths were benches and were a bit uncomfortable after a while. The line for where you order was also quite short and got backed up pretty quickly with larger groups. Food: I ordered the chicken Shawarma plate and others in my party ordered the shwarama wrap and the Feta Fries. The plate came with rice, hummus and a pita. Wraps came with one side and the Fries were an appetizer. The plate was quite sizeable and filling. Came with plenty of rice that was seasoned well. It did have cilantro for those who don't like that. The hummus was very good, and the chicken was tender. I thought the garlic sauce was a little too heavy on the garlic, but others in my party loved it. The fries were very filling and came with plenty of chicken and feta on top. Food came out very quickly and we weren't waiting for very long. Coke machine was not the one with the large varieties of flavors. Staff: The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to answer all our questions since we don't have this type of food often. Didn't really have any interaction with other staff. There is staff to bring food to the table and to bus tables.
Gyro bowl was fantastic! Our table ordered a few appetizers lemony cauliflower, grape leaves and hummus and enjoyed them all. Hummus was the best. Grape leaves were a little too lemony for my taste. Definitely will return.Food: 4/5
I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The good has ALWAYS been fresh, clean and tasty a hard combo to achieve. The atmosphere is always relaxing and clean. What really does it for me is the consistent customer service. They have always been helpful and pleasant. The staff seems genuinely glad to help. Tonight I forgot to order some items with my food and one of the staff members met my needs right away and didn't make me wait back in line. They let you eat in peace and don't bug you but when there is a concern or a need they seem to go above and beyond. We had the soup salad combo; Chicken Chili & Greek salad with Granch their creative version of ranch.... Delicious! The new fried Feta rolls are an interesting and improved spin on mozzarella sticks. Can't wait till next time. Our bill was $23 for the two of us. We can't get this quality for this price and where else! Thanks for setting the bar so high Lazizas!
