This was a perfect spot for a family get away. We stayed in a camper cabin and loved it. The pool was right out our front door. Sand volleyball, playground and jumping pillow were just the right amount of entertainment. The owners and staff were willing to help and make our stay just what it needed to be. The river tubing was a hit for our kids along with the horseback riding. Both of these took you along peaceful paths and added to our experience.

People should know a few things before staying here. The most important is that if you have environmental sensitivities or asthma, DO NOT STAY NEAR THE POOL. They heat the pool by burning wood and there is smoke present day and night. It was so bad we couldn't open our cabin windows and had to leave the campground for much of the day to get fresh air. The next thing is that the petting zoo is off site and only open on Saturdays. We were allowed to go during the week, but had to set up a time. The river tubing and horseback riding were great fun, but the best thing about this campground is that it's across the street from Whitewater State Park (next year we will definitely be staying at the park instead).

We've been going for years as an extended family and love it. To the person who gave it one star because it was WAY out in the sticks... you're an idiot. It's a campground. Where else would it be. That's the point.

It's a nice place for families. They seem to have some plumbing issues, the bathrooms/showers shut down multiple times during our last visit.

Nice place for family. Jumping pillow and playground are greats for kids! Tubing is fun for the whole family.
