LB Bakery

Stopped in to eat at LB Bistro & Bakery this morning. I walked by so many times and finally got a chance to go in. It’s a quaint little place, quiet, extremely friendly service. I ordered the English muffin sandwich on the menu outside hanging on the window and my sandwich came on a bagel instead and was nothing like the description on the menu. I would have liked to change my order if there were no English muffins however I wasn’t asked and I was presented with the bagel sandwich and I couldn’t say no and waste food. There was one person serving everyone who was very attentive but could have used a hand. This bakery is attached to the Lord Baltimore Hotel and is across the street from the Charles Street Metro Station and on several bus lines. I would definitely return, pastries in the case look delicious!

Lox Platter was $18. Cafe Americano was good. $5 Service getting my lox platter was awful. I hope it is worth the awkward service. And to boot, it is my first time here! I expected a lot more from a place associated wirh the legendary Lord Baltimore. I just moved to the neighborhood, not from this establishment. I am hoping to give them another chance on another day. I could see myself here more often.

Breakfast Veggie Hash with eggs was delicious. Tea was terrible - incredibly weak, despite 2 tea bags and horrible flavour. Only 1 staff member at busy breakfast time so incredibly slow service. 25 mins from arrival in Bistro to starting my food. Asked for food to eat in but order sent to kitchen as "to go".Food: 5/5

November 24, 2023 Only one person working behind the counter, taking the orders, being a barista, serving the food, and cleaning the tables. And she did it all professionally, with a smile! I hope management appreciates all your hard work.

Great menu choices. Not rushed, but our order was taken and delivered with care and courtesy in the right amount of time. The food was hot and fresh. Save room for one of their yummy desserts that you can choose from their pastry display - could this carryout Brownie be any prettier? Highly recommend it as one of Baltimore's little gems.

Stayed in connected hotel Lord Baltimore, yet it does have an independent sidewalk entry. The place is cozy... Something which made it uncomfortable considering dining there was seeing that EVERY table needed a wipe-down - I had to request such where I sat at.Food: 5/5

Nice bakery mostly due to its nice feel and friendly staff. The desserts look much better than they taste. The taste is not rich and the chocolate used is not of good quality. But overall it is a nice place to have a cup of coffee.

Staying at Lord Baltimore this is the most convenient place to eat. Have eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert here. Average food at best. Had donut that was so old that filling was gone and sides were hard. Fish and chips that were so greasy they were barely edible. Refrigerator Sandwich was best item I ate here, tasted as I imagined a pre-made sandwich sitting in a cold case would. Tiramisu looked awesome but lacked flavor you would expect from a coffee flavored dessert. The staff aren't very friendly and move pretty slow.

This place is a hidden gem in the city! Lots of seating, free wifi, and refills on house coffee. They serve La Colombe coffee which is delicious. The food is expensive and I probably wouldn't order that here, but the coffee is great
