Really nice iconic place. The service was nice and helpful, I asked if I could charge my phone and gladly they helped me. The food was great plus was really really fast. The atmosphere is really cozy, classic but with touches of modern. The prices are not so accessible but it is Paris and the place is iconic, so I was not expecting something different .
This was a very tasty meal. The staff were really nice and were able to speak English for our guests who cannot speak French. The food was above average and was an overall delight. If I were in the neighborhood I would choose to eat here again.
Excellent service and very good food. The waitress was incredibly friendly and very helpful, we struggled with our French at first, fortunately she spoke excellent English and helped us with the menu. Very conveniently located just down the street from Moulin Rouge, so perfect for a pre-show dinner.
Slightly pricey, Mussels were not fresh, thus very salty to mask the smell. The fries were soggy and dry. The pasta bolognese was an utter fail. Overcooked pasta, barely plain tasting pasta similar to pre-made pasta made hot. We tried the petit Chablis for the white wine. It was not better than the 6 euros wine we bought from casino supermarket. Sad try. But the service is good!
This place felt like a tourist trap. French onion soup tasted bland and watery… we didn’t bother to finish it. Foie gras pate was a tiny portion served with some stale toast. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Lastly, the waiter solicited us for a tip as we paid.
Amazing atmosphere, great live music and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the tapas but to share because it's a big portion and the creme brulee!
This place is very cool. The food was pretty good. Atmosphere was fun and kind of funky. It's a unique place. And if you're an art history buff it's an added something special. It's definitely a staple in French culture and shouldn't be missed! We went at an off-time during the day so we had the place to ourselves. Usually it's hoppin.
Quite coquette place with such friendly staff! Even it was a full house, when we entered the restaurant, the manager I think lead us to the table and introduced us to the waiter. Everyone was wearing a mask so covid measures are fine. Now, the food. I must admit, the beef burger was great but I felt like it was missing something to make it really good. I don't really know what but overall it was good. The patty was good cooked and suculent. The chicken burger it s also a good choice. We paid like 18 euros hope I remember well for each burger which included fries and a sauce. I really think the price was very fair judging the quality of the food, friendliness of the staff and the location it self, like 1 min away from Moulin Rouge.
For two month we wanted to try some typical French dishes and we finally found this place. We ordered snails and frog legs and it was a great experience, since it was all delicious. The mail dishes were also great. The atmosphere was great and the people working there were veeery nice. Special thanks and greeting to the waiter from Serbia and the bartender from Moldovia. Many thanks from Poland
This was a great place to grab an after midnight snack and drink. We had just seen the show at Moulin Rouge and wanted something to eat before heading back to our hotel. Their onion soup was the perfect option and really quite good. The servers were quite responsive and able to help us as our party grew from two to all five of us. They kept the food and snack coming. If you are in the area, perhaps visiting Moulin Rouge, this is a great option for food before or after.
