The food was absolutely outstanding. The leeks in the croque madame were a really nice and delicate touch. The French Toast is unbelievable! The inside is so soft and custard like with a hint of lemon and vanilla. The curried lentils are really good too. The young lady helping us was very kind and sweet and made some great recommendations!
Chocolate croissant was decadent and cappuccino was delicious! Friendly and accommodating staff, inviting atmosphere with comfy tables and music that wasn’t too loud. Will definitely be back!!Food: 5/5
We booked Le Perche for our rehearsal dinner in October 2023 and we are so grateful to the staff for the most amazing event we could have asked for. The food was incredible; so many of our guests insisted on going back the same weekend just to eat their food again. The waitstaff was super attentive and met our every request. We were surprised and delighted to discover our rental included the entire back patio area, which is gorgeous and well heated. We didn't bring in any decor because I just couldn't be bothered, but it wouldn't have been necessary. The restaurant has a really beautiful understated elegance that I could not have enhanced. Again, the food was to die for. Huge shout out to Amy for being so responsive to my many emails and menu changes. Eat here!
Sooooo incredibly busy and for good reason. Delicious breakfast and one of the best chocolate croissant/latte combos I’d ever had. I sat at the counter where I was able to be seated immediately. Great experience really, you’re right in the middle of it all which may not be for some. Would absolutely stop in again on another visit to Hudson.
We really enjoyed our brunch here on a Sunday morning. The service was great and the food was all delicious. It is definitely not a cheap brunch, but the portion sizes are good to help make up for it. Would recommend the French toast, especially if you have an appetite we’ll be enjoying leftovers! Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options!
Spicy chicken sandwich is the best we’ve ever had. Scallops were amazing as well.Food: 5/5
Lovely bakery and restaurant with outdoor space that would be really nice in warm weather. The host staff was very welcoming, but our server was equally aloof. Before we ordered the spinach and feta croissant, we asked if the spinach was cooked and she had no idea and couldn’t be bothered to find out - even though pastries are made in-house. Luckily, the croissant was delicious and we were happy we ordered it spinach was cooked, btw. The French Onion Soup had a robust onion flavor, which we enjoyed. The Crab Fried Rice was surprisingly delicious as well. If our server wasn’t so indifferent, it would have been the perfect brunch.
We were very thankful they took our group of 6 on a Sunday afternoon. We really enjoyed how lovely the building was and the outside space. The espresso drinks and hot chocolate were very good and the handcrafted mugs were a delight. The food was hit and miss. The spaghetti squash with eggs and the Croque Madame was very good and they were unique and refreshing items to offer. The egg sandwich was very small and plain without meat, for the price, and the poached egg that came with the avocado toast was brought to the table broken. The ham and cheese croissant was horrid. I thought at first it was wrapped in a brown bakery paper like a muffin, but it turned out that it was the ham, and the whole thing was hard as a rock. When asked why it wasn't eaten the person I was with said they thought maybe it was too stale to eat due to the hardness the server was a bit combative and said a little rudely that it was baked fresh that day. Whatever the case, it wasn't something she found edible. I know it's from the bakery section but I think that it might've been better if it could be warmed up somehow. The other issue was the time it took to get our food. It did seem that the orders went to the kitchen in the wrong order as many bigger groups who came in very long after us were served before us and our server confirmed it. The focaccia we ordered for the table never came out and when we asked where it was, we were told they were out. Which is fine, of course, but you should tell us straight away, don't make us have to ask. We ordered the sourdough in place of it which was also not warm and extra hard and not cut through all the way so we kind of struggled sharing it. Again all of these things are not the biggest deal but it is nice to have a server/restaurant who wants to make it better and feels at least somewhat apologetic. Take the uneaten item off of the bill without being asked, offer a little something in return for the added wait time, something, ya know? We know it isn't the server's fault if the kitchen forgot about us, but we didn't feel taken care of and it left the experience feeling pretty meh when we had started the day there pretty excited.
I love Le Perche for early brunch. The french toast is enormous but delicious, and the omelet with a side salad is a go-to. I suggest you try the drink specials. When leaving, don't forget to pick up some daily baked bread.Food: 5/5
Food was good. Portions were pretty small so some items you really don't get a bang for your buck if you care. Atmosphere was nice and service was great. Drinks were also delicious chai latte was perfect.Food: 4/5
