We arrived the first day they reopened after the fires were contained. We were pleasantly surprised to be the only guests that evening. Our host,Todd, greeted us and gave us impeccable service.The beautiful fireplace & dimly lit room added charm & coziness, making the atmosphere perfect.Wine & food pairing selections were expertly matched by the chef. We enjoyed every sip & bite! We highly recommend this dining experience to others & will definitely revisit again. One of the highlights of our trip...purchasing some wine to take home too!

A very cool hotel.  We got a room overlooking the square and street and it was great being able to sit on our balcony with a morning coffee and watch everyone start their day.  The restaurant is easily one of the best we've eaten in.  It is not somewhere to find a burger or fast sandwich or fast and easy dinner.  It is somewhere for a special night out like anniversary, weekend get away or the like.  The menu is fixed and paired with wine and the things we didn't think we'd like (like oysters) turned out to be fantastic!

The atmosphere was fantastic for the occasion. It was a first date with a woman I had not met previously. Had an elegant and nostalgic feel to it. Also very quite, which again, suited my needs perfectly. The wine selection, although limited, was pretty darn good as was the Pinot I had. The bartender was very friendly and attentive and he even had the Giants game on the TV which was a plus. I would definitely go back for drinks.
