On 7/4 I drop off a jacket, when I pick it up next week it has been completely ruined. The fabric is discolored and completely wrinkled, there's seam puckering and tigerstripe like stains everywhere. This jacket is made out of a special silk material.  I mention this to Mr. Lee, and he claims this is the original design and demands me show proof that it wasn't like this. I had to scroll through my phone to find a random pic of me wearing the jacket previously. I've previously dry cleaned this item with no issues, and I mention that. Alright, Mr. Lee admits something is wrong. He says it's on the factory he contracts out the cleaning to inspect and make amends. He tells me to visit again next week.  The week after I come to pick it up, and he mentions the factory has "repaired" it. No clear details on why the item was originally damaged, but it sounds like they did not read the care tags and improperly washed or pressed it.  The discoloration is somewhat addressed, but the wrinkles, seam puckering and stains are still faintly visible. It seems like what the 'repair' consisted of was a layer of wax or plastic on top. Essentially putting makeup on the damage, the wax is not permanent and the material underneath is still irreversibly damaged. On top of that the process must've been harsh since stitches and seam edges are now fraying.  The biggest red flags are the lack of transparency and not owning up to the mistake. At no time was I offered compensation for ruining my garment.  All photos and receipts are attached, see and judge for yourself.

I have been a customer of Mr Lees for the last 13 years and I have yet to find another one who is as good as he is. Reliable friendly and honest with his quality of service
