If I need to have any type of a surgical procedure or need to go to the ER, I ALWAYS choose Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. The nurses are very helpful and kind. The physicians are capable and do their best to help you. There is a nice & welcoming atmosphere within the hospital itself. It is very CLEAN which is awesome, too! Thank you so much for caring for each patient as an individual! Keep up the great service!

Legacy Salmon Creek was everything a hospital and its staff should be when I had given birth to my three kids. The NICU and nurses in the birthing center and aftercare deserved more than 5 stars! So why only 2? The emergency room and radiology departments are horrid. The emergency room wait times and care are unacceptable. You wait 5 hours, go in the back and wait more. There is no excuse for such poor care. The radiology department also makes you wait and the mammogram technicians have the warmth and kindness of cardboard cutouts. I had to bring my kids with me to my appointment (not by choice--who wants to bring their kids to get their boobs squished). Drove a half hour and they turned me away because my kids couldn't wait in the private waiting room. Family-unfriendly place. My kids are quiet and very respectful. Life happens--apparently their customer-service doesn't.

I went to the emergency room at 6 am. It is almost nine and they still have not seen me. They have seen three people that came in after me. If you have a real emergency go elsewhere.

Still waiting, baby boy has RSV, legacy decided 4 hours ago that that was way outside the capability of the staff here and decided to send us to Randall's Children's Hospital, via ambulance,  which we were told was an hour out, and hour later and we're told 90 minutes out, now it's been 2 more hours, is it still 90 minutes out? I appreciate greatly that they know that there's no one here smart enough to help our baby, but they cannot seriously not be smart enough to tell time and/or coordinate a pick up by an ambulance..... or can they?

I just delivered my baby here. I highly recommend this place for giving birth. The nurses are well informed, super friendly, encouraging, really helpful before and after birth, and they take the time to listen all your questions and concerns. They take real good care of you and your baby after the birth.
