Wow! Didn't know I could be wowed by a dentist, but there it is. Changed dentists due to dental insurance SNAFU and found this place via insurance website. That was definitely the best dental experience I've had in my 50(give out take 10, right?) years. Everyone at this office was extremely pleasant, polite and professional. Arrived on time to my appointment and was seen almost immediately. Like I said, everyone was great-from Megan and Keisha in front through Rubi and (didn't get hygenist's name?). All had great interpersonal skills and explained what they were doing before doing it. They checked for possible pain and sensitivity concerns before digging in. Dr. Schultz likewise had a very easy-going manner that made the visit a joy. X-ray and other technology was impressive too. Kudos to him and his staff for doing such a great job. I will definitely be back.

The quality of this place has gone way down. A family member and I first went here a couple of years ago and had a positive experience, especially my family member who had major dental work done costing a few thousand dollars. However, more recently, I've found that it's impossible to get an appointment, and if you actually do get an appointment, you cannot rely on them to actually keep the appointment. In July, I called them for my annual check up and cleaning, and they said they couldn't see me until September. Then, in September, they contacted me to say I was due for a check up and cleaning, even though I already had one scheduled. They then told me they had to cancel that appointment and couldn't see me until October. Don't bother with this place, there are plenty of better options available.

Firstly, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was kind. That was the one positive part of my experience. The 6 month x-ray requirement felt to me like a racket to justify what seemed to be very expensive equipment. And with more powerful cameras, you can see more things and try to scare patients into thinking you've found something "underdiagnosed" so people think it's way more serious or urgent than it is. I have been to many dentists in my life, and never before experienced so much aggressive salesmanship for products that are cosmetic or which I am years away from needing, if I ever do. Cheap alternatives (like a $5 bite guard at walgreens instead of a $200+ one made to fit my teeth) were not offered. And part of the sales pitch was an attempt to convince me that taking more time and energy out of my life to come back to the dental office was a "gift" since "for free" I would be able to consult with an orthodontist who would of course meet with me for free to try and convince me I needed to spend a ton of money on his services. The whole thing was utterly disgusting. I do not remotely recommend this racket of a dental office.

The office staff is always very friendly and helpful. They always see you at your scheduled appointment time, which is very important to me!! I hate being made to wait when I show up on time. This was the first time seeing Dr. Schultz and he was very professional and made me feel very at ease. The assistant Ruby was great as well. I have always had a positive experience here and highly recommend going here.

I writing this as I'm literally sitting in the dental chair. It's 4:20, my appointment was for 3:30 and I have not yet had anyone even look at my teeth. I understand running behind, but this is not the 1st thing that has gone wrong since my 1st appointment here about a month ago. With my first appointment, I received a confirmation for the wrong time. When I called the office they said it was for someone else & to disregard. When I showed up for my scheduled time, they said they tried to call (a call I never received) but my insurance wasn't valid. I asked them to call again, and magically there was no problem so I ended up waiting while this call was going on. I am not pleased & will not be returning to Legend Dental.
