wow - surprised to see this place only 4 reviews. My fiance and I went to 7 haunted houses last season and take Halloween very seriously and loved legends of fear. very memorable night. We can't wait to go back in a few weeks. Highly recommend 2017 Update - Another 5/5!! Even better this year. The updates they made were awesome. It was 2x a busy though - you can tell they increased their marketing budget! Show up early, took a while to park and the lines were long.

It's great of you don't mind waiting an hour and a half on line for everything. Most other haunted houses sell tickets by time and thus limit the number of overall visitors. This keeps lines manageable. Legends of Fear does not do this. They sell open tickets therefore there is no limit on how many they will sell in one night. I imagine its more profitable to do it this way, but it also means I waited almost 2 hours for the Haunted Hayride. However, if you don't want me to come back, this is how you get me to not come back! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. After the Hayride, we tried the Trail of Terror and there was another hour wait on line. We just skipped it and threw out the tickets. They suckered me this year, but I'll never be back.

A lot goes into this attraction and you can tell as soon as you show up. hayride was fun a lot of jump scares but they also create great psychological scares with the actors makeup and effects used in the environment. The scariest part for me was the nuns in the church. When I went inside during the trail walk it was lit only by candlelight and the nuns were all lined in the church as an organ played. When I pointed out that the place was, "creepy as F***" one of the nuns heard me left the place by the wall she was standing at and chased me out of the church calling me a sinner. The commitment from the actors and the property being a so big truly helps transform the farm into a nightmare scenario.

Great family farm for Christmas, they have several types of precut and/or cut your own Christmas tree's, wreaths, ornaments. Sit by the fire have a hot chocolate with some fresh made donuts, cookies, or popcorn. A visit with Santa for a family picture! Don't forget your camera!

Fantastic experience. Definitely try to get there early since it gets crowded quickly. I would recommend to go on the hayride first and then go on the walking trail. Some great jump-scares and overall a really great night.
