I don’t recommend sending any kid here. The children are NOT treated right. You’re not allowed to go back to the room with your child. They shut all the door so you can’t see what’s going on at all. And you can hear him back there getting frustrated and saying things that shouldn’t be said. He won’t work on your child unless all the doors are closed meaning the reception door and the room they are being worked on in. This is why we have kids that are scared to go to the dentist.

Unfortunately our experience most recently at Dr. Lemna's office was nothing short of traumatizing. My son has been a patient of Dr. Lemna's for several years and has had caps placed by him previously. My son went today for a visit as his cap fell off this week. We were taken back for him to assess his tooth and then my son was taken to the other room for an x-ray down the hall. I could hear my son gagging as he has a hard time with this, I could hear them get frustrated with him for the gagging. I was then told his tooth would need pulled due to the amount of tooth that was missing. This was fine, it was a baby tooth. Dr. Lemna told me of the need for this around the corner from my son, my son started to peek around the corner and Dr. Lemna told him to get back in the chair he didn't like that he was being sneaky. My son obeyed. He then became upset and didn't want to go to the exam room but did and was crying and yelling to please not hurt him. My son suffers from anxiety and was recently diagnosed autistic. He becomes very upset in uncomfortable situations, I had made Dr. Lemna aware of this and his nervousness for this visit. My son sat down in the chair, still continuing to be very upset. Dr. Lemna proceeded to lay the chair back and yell (yes, yell) at him while pointing his finger at him barely away from touching his face as he pointed. He yelled "You're not going to yell at me, you got that? This is not your house, it's my house my rules." At this time I was told to leave the room. I stepped out and could still hear my son crying. I then stood at the receptionist desk right outside the open waiting room door and told her I was standing there as after this had just occurred I needed to be able to know if something like this was happening again. The dental assistant then came from the back to shut the waiting room door, I requested it not be shut due to what had just occurred. She told me if it couldn't be shut then he had to stop and I said fine then stop he doesn't need to treat my son. Dr. Lemna then came out and was obviously annoyed by this. I told him it was a shame this was how this had to happen because I couldn't be allowed to hear what was going on with my son after he had just treated him this way in front of me. He went on to tell me it was a shame my son acted this way. Really?! My son was upset and rightfully so. I told him I wished this hadn't been the experience to set the expectation of what a dentist visit was like and he told me to look at the example I was setting. Really?! I protected my son from his verbal abuse. And god knows what else could have happened behind closed doors. I asked for a copy of the record and was denied and then told I could have them after 24 hours. I told Dr. Lemna then that I would be filing a complaint with the Board of Dentistry which is already in process along with the Attorney General. This post is meant to provide honest insight into our experience as I would never want another parent or child to experience this. It was awful and heartbreaking. This experience was worse than watching my child go through medical procedures with myself in the room the entire time, never in those moments did I once have a concern. I also understand there are those on this page fully in support of the provider and for those I say, I am happy you and your child have had great experiences and wouldn't wish today's experience on anyone.

Their all amazing here! The staff is always smiling and happy. My kids love it, and actually look forward to going to the dentist. I love that I can be with both kids at once. They encourage the corny pictures! I absolutely love this place.

Dr. Lemna is a great dentist! He is super patient with my son who suffers significant anxiety about his dental work. I find Dr. Lemna to be easy to talk with about my sons needs. He is quick and efficient and strives to make going to the dentist as fun and painless as possible for kids. His staff is great as well. I love how friendly and outgoing they all are. The office is super clean and kid friendly (as it should be!). I recommend him to everyone I know and will continue to do so!!!

Best dentist my kids have ever seen. All three of my children love going there, including my two with special needs. He, and his staff, is very comforting to my children with sensory processing disorder and help them to understand the loud sounds and such so that they will not be scared. Not only are they not scared, but my 4yr old begs to go to the dentist cause she thinks it is fun! Any dentist that can make a child think it is fun gets an A+ in my book! As a parent, I love that he takes me into the x-ray room and shows me the x-rays any time that I have questions about my child's cavities or other dental needs. I feel that he does a great job at explaining what needs done and why.
