Property taxes must be postmarked by January 2nd. The Post Office is closed on January 2nd! Does anyone there have a calendar? Office hours of the Levy County, posted online, state that the offices are open today, but no answer to any phone calls. How does one in Virginia pay Florida property taxes on the due date? "Hell of a way to run a railroad." Great way to ripoff a taxpayer!
