I'm Sean's dad living in Bend, OR which has many really good breweries but not as good as L&CB.  Sean started out Deschutes Brewer as a keg washer, then head keg washer, eventually becoming a brewer.  I remember Sean telling me that many IPA beers were too hoppy and needed to be made smoother - so that's the start of his craft.  I wish he was here so I could enjoy his beer.  (Sean is going to raise a ruckus on my post.

Best beer in town, way better than blackfoot. Best atmosphere, best staff, best brewery in montana!!! Excelleeeeeeent!!!!

I come here every time I visit Helena.  The majority of the beers are easily drinkable.  Miner's Gold hefeweizen and Back Country Scottish Ale are particularly pleasing.

I used to not care so much for LnC Brewing, but their beers have really improved over the years. The old paint factory is cool and they did a stellar job fixing it up. Trivia nights are a kick in the pants. Miner's Gold and Scottish Ale are both solid choices.
