Excellent State Park lots and lots of History to be read seen and heard. Our tour guide was a fantastic young lady did a great job well worth the drive and well worth the $12 I think to go on the tour. Great little gift shop at the top parking lot . informational area down at the lower lot with a nice Lodge style information center. Nice clean restrooms they're handicapped accessible. And the only flush toilet still you get top of the hill. No bathrooms in the cave make plenty of pit stops nice and cool in there I went through just fine and shorts and a t-shirt a lot of people wear a jacket though. Especially females... Campground look pretty nice but of course was full the night I wanted to stay there.

Fun place to take the kids. Our tour guide was amazing. There is a cost and there are no self guided tours, that surprised people in our group so I thought it Good to mention! We loved it. Some tight and narrow places but mostly big open beautiful caverns. Fun history lesson as well!

Absolutely worth it! Even if you're not enthralled with caves and rock formations, see it at least once for the wow factor of seeing something interesting, beautiful and weird all at the same time. A very informative tour that gives you a good history of this particular cave and also teaches you more about geology in general. A lively guide will make it an entertaining experience. As a note, the hike to get to the start isn't too bad, but it is about a mile and you are pretty much walking uphill the entire time, in the sun. Tho it is a more gradual incline and there are plenty on benches to stop to take a break on, if needed. There's trash cans at the top, so feel free to bring a water bottle. Guides allow about half an hour for the climb.

This was a great stop for an adventure! Had a blast learning about all of the different rooms/caves. Our guide was super smart and very detailed. Cute little gift shop. Great hike as well, definitely grab some good hiking and nonslip shoes. 👍🏽

The Lewis and Clark Caverns were an amazing experience. Our tour guide Anna knew a lot of the history surrounding the caves as well as information about the formations in the caves themselves. Don't think, however, that the tour was dull. Our tour guide worked in the information using various stories and corny rock jokes. She also pointed out different features of the cave by comparing them to more familiar shapes. Many of the formations also had unique names and stories that couldn't help but make you laugh. This attraction also offered complimentary kennels for pets and offered a full refund if the first part of the tour was too strenuous. This is a MUST see! If you go, ask for Anna as a guide!
