I recently used Liberty Bell Moving & Storage for a move from Massachusetts to Maine. I quoted several companies and ultimately chose Liberty Bell. My rep, was extremely responsive and took care to follow up by both phone and email and my questions in advance of the move were answered same day. My move took place during Christmas week, around several large snow and ice storms in temps exceeding -10*. My moving team was A+. The team was right on time and called just before their arrival. I had a lot of large awkward heavy furniture to be moved and we were splitting a house. The team was friendly, professional and took great care with my stuff and both homes. My items were set to be delivered first thing the next morning at 8am and they were right on time despite the frigid temps and I was glad I had the same team both days. All of my items were delivered, nothing missing, damage free and they too great care with my floors and fresh paint etc. My only comment was that my quote was a bit off the mark against the actual amount due - my move was based on weight and I know that is hard to target. I wasn't surprised it was more as I knew how many large/heavy items I had and the balance due was still well within my moving budget so I wasn't terribly concerned. Overall my relocation hit many snags and the only part that went off without a hitch was the physical move performed by Liberty Bell. This was hands down the best experience with movers I have had and we will absolutely call upon them again when the other half of our home is ready to move. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family, friends and beyond.

My husband and I hired Liberty Bell Movers for our move that took place this September. They were very flexible and even let us change our move date. We had looked into other companies prior to going with Liberty Bell and I really feel we made the right choice in the end. Overall, very satisfied with our experience. Thanks again for your great service!

I contacted Sean on Monday 8/7 and he had an opening Tuesday 8/8 from 1-5. I needed to get a load of personal items out of my garage and store them short term. He sent me an estimate which I esigned and I requested how to make a deposit to get the job booked. I was under the impression that I was all set. Tuesday at my lunch break I called to confirm the job and to let the guys know where the key was to get in the garage. I spoke with Spencer who saw my call log with Sean but no deposit was made or recorded. I hastily charged over $600 to my cc to secure the job. The guys showed up at 1:30 and cleared out my space. Spencer later sent me the final bill which I paid with my cc through the paypal option provided. Overall satisfied but what if I had not checked in with Spencer to let him know where the key was? I would have been very disappointed to say the least. Thank you Spencer for saving the day. 5 stars to Spencer, 2 stars to Sean Doug Anderson

One star is way more credit than they deserve. They took 8 months to refinish only 3 out of five of our pieces. They also tried to over charge us. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Highly impressed with the team over at Liberty Bell Moving. We had our stuff moved locally in Portland and we couldn't have been happier. I found their rates to be reasonable so I went with them and they were straight forward with their pricing and were very descriptive about what they were offering to me. The moving crew arrived a few minutes before our scheduled move and that was certainly refreshing. They got the job done quickly and beat my time expectations. I will definitely be calling these guys again should I need to move again.
