Everyone knows how stressful moving can be, not to mention when the need for a storage unit compounds the process.  I wanted to find a clean, affordable, safe storage facility, and Life Storage is by far  above the competition. So far so good. I just registered for a storage unit rental at Life Storage. I found the staff to be helpful and very friendly. The unit and facility was clean and well-maintained. Very happy so far.

Renting the facility and moving all my stuff in went smoothly and painlessly. That's the reason this is a 2-star and not a 1-star review. I just closed my unit and moved my things out on December 5th. Auto-pay sends off my payment at the start of the month. After the unit was cleared, I asked about a refund for the rest of December (over $100) and was told they don't offer refunds unless you give them notice you're leaving, and move onto a daily rate. But when I called in November (yes, plenty of notice) to ask for move-out instructions, I wasn't told anything about that. So now I'm out $110 because they refuse to refund, even though the mistake is on them. Not thrilled.
